Residential and Commercial Park

On March 4th, 2022, Beira Urban Development Society – SDUBeira and Beira Municipal Council – CMB officially received from the contractor the 3-hectare pilot area prepared with basic infrastructure for the construction of the first buildings of Maraza Residential and Commercial Park, SDUBeira took the opportunity to present the area to the local business community by holding a ceremony to present the area.

During the event, was presented basic infrastructure of the projects covered in the 3ha area, namely: sewage systems with a wastewater treatment plant, access roads, water supply system, public lighting, landfill and demarcation of plots. All this infrastructure was prepared to the smallest detail and was financed by the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The president of CMB – Albano Carige launched a challenge to the local business community in “Transforming this area into a citadel that transmits well-being to the community, especially to those who inhabit in it” and on behalf of the local business community, the president of the Beira Commercial Association – ACB, Felix Machado praised the city council’s initiative and committed to working with SDUBeira in promoting this project to the local business community, in addition, the PCA of SDUBeira Emmy Bosten invited real estate developers to know different opportunities available in Maraza Residential Park and discuss possible beneficial partnerships between the parties.
